Perth Biodesign FAQs

The Perth Biodesign course runs for around 6 months annually. The inaugural Perth Biodesign for Digital Health course will run for 3 months.

Weekly class session run on Wednesdays from 5pm-7.30pm and it is expected that participants will attend 90% of these. Outside of class, participants will need to commit extra time to work on deliverables and attend team meetings. On average, participants spend 8 hours per week on course commitments (including the weekly session).

No, we don’t! 

The Perth Biodesign course uses an Intellectual Property (IP) policy designed so that teams can share the IP developed in the course in a fair manner.

The Perth Biodesign course costs $5000.

Accelerating Australia partial scholarships are available to applicants applying with an affiliation to an Accelerating Australia consortium member. Partial scholarships bring course fees down to $1000. 

On successful completion of the course (and receipt of all deliverables), participants will receive a $500 performance bonus, effectively bringing the total cost of the course to $500.
